Adults Batik Classes (5 weeks duration)

In the art of batik, wax is applied to fabric so that it resists the dye and creates an image. The waxed areas of the fabric stay the same colour, as the dyes cannot penetrate the wax. The fabric can be re-waxed and dyed many times to create a personal and unique design.

Suitable for adults aged 18 years +   Maximum of 8 places per course.  Beginners welcome.
Every Tuesday  from 10.15am – 12.15 pm
